Stranger and stranger….
Running errands after work, picked up Doomsday for the friday night post-apocalyptic movie screening, and grabbed a bag of Herrs Horseradish and Chedder chips (made specifically for me I swear!).
Ignored was Wargames: The Deadcode (Wargames II? Are you serious?) and Starship Troopers 3: Marauders (Casper Van Diem is back…good career move.).
Time to vegetate… no new developments to report.
I’ve even heard rumours that there are plans for…Top Gun 2.
Warning!
Doomsday will suck the will to live from you.
We saw it in the theater.
Wow, what a turd.
Should have gone with Starship 2, ” Rico’s back, Bitch!”.
Have you seen “Fido” yet? It’s a pretty good “sequel” to Shaun of the Dead. I put sequel in quotes because it appears to have been made by a totally different group from Shaun.
Greg: Top Gun 2: The wrath of Hollywood appears to be more than rumblings. I’m going to have to stock up on ammo and food, this is surely a sign of the coming apocalypse.
Piet: Ya know the first bit wasn’t bad, I’ve always been a sucker for those chaos combined with narrative bits, the rest was like Mad Max meets Resident Evil meets Lord of the Rings (honest, what was with the long walks in nature? They had 40 fours, and spent days walking around the woods).
It ran too long, the elite military team got wiped out within 15 minutes of first contact with the savages, the APCs appeared to be lacking the “A” part, with windshields being smashed easier than passanger cars.
Otherwise worth every penny.
And that’s starship troopers 3, which I’ll likely end up renting just because I am a glutton for punishment.
Tom the I: Sure have, enjoyed it greatly! Got a few screencaps from that movie in the zombie motivational posters somewhere. I’ve really got to get back to watching zombie movies, I’m slipping here!
