Darren Brown talks people out of their wallets. I can’t imagine this working on me, but then I’m pretty sure the guys who handed over their wallets both thought the same thing as well.

    Take notice where this trick is working, in the UK, whose subjects are taught not to think too much. They are trained, like animals, trust those who have authority, even if it is only perceived authority.

    This carnavile trick would never work in America.

    Actually, it gets used in America all the time.

    Aggressive panhandlers and muggers start by asking for directions or for the time, in order to help establish dominance … you are serving them.

    Best response is to tell them to go away … if they want the time or directions, they can go buy a watch or a map.
