I'd recommend sticking with XP for now, as it is a stable OS. In the past when I had W2K for an OS, I used "registry clean expert" to keep the registry fresh and it worked great. But starting with a fresh image and reinstalling everything (especially if the original CD is not where you left it!) is no day at the beach either. Hope your colds, or whatever, start to settle down soon - now that the weather is finally starting to behave more like spring!
