Kateys Firearms Facts
Kateys Firearms Facts is a collection of videos about gun control in Canada, the Canadian Firearms Center and self defence.
Naturally I learn about this sort of thing from Random Nuclear Strikes who picked it up from this post at Of Arms and the Law. Why am I always the last to learn of these things from my own country?
NEVER mock the “People who make you safe”..
The “man” does not have a sense of humor.
That reminds me of a bumper sticker I see at every gun show, depicting a heavily armed entry team, poised to “Breach”.
The message at the bottom says “We’re from the Government, and we’re here to help”.
I suspect this is a “Compliance check”..:)
The Canadian firearms registry, not unlike Communism, a good idea in theory.
The people who make me safe?
Like Remington and Winchester?
Oh, sorry, you were referring to the gummint.
My bad…never mind.

I just learned about her from MadOgre. And subscribed to her.
I weep for Canada.
Meh, it could be worse, and may yet be. For now it’s not the worst anti-gun country in the world, aspirations not withstanding.
Is true. ‘Sides, you have all that cool Norinco stuff allowed in country AND are the home to Para Ordnance.
I think a saw this one on Xavier awhile back, she has quite a few of them and they are all very good. I wish have the kids in this country were as bright and aware of what is going on as she is.
Sadly Bruce Montague, Kateys father, was found guilty of firearms related offences on December 7th.
I don’t think Katey is representative of the kids in this country, but any voice is certainly better than no voice and I admire the PSAs they’ve put together.
I was not aware of the outcome of this case, thanks for the update and sad to hear the outcome of it. I wish him and his family all the best in this diffucult time.
I’m not sure if he has any appeal options at this point, but I sincerely doubt this marks the end of that fight.
Thing is, Montague was TRYING to get arrested so that he could fight the legality of the gun laws against him in a court of law.
And, unfortunately, the one law he didn’t take into account was the expired permit.
