More gun pron…Texas chapter
My brother Piet has posted a few pics of his gun collection during a lull in his outdoor leisure activities. I’m starting to get jealous again as he not only happily acquires firearms I am not allowed to even name for fear of federal prosecution (kidding, sorta) but is now closing the gap on firearms that are allowed up here.
He also took a moment to follow-up on a conversation we had a few days back about my attempt to load 762×39mm into my 556×45mm AR15. He mentioned acquiring an SMLE and commented that the ammunition his Mosin-Nagant takes was dimensionally similar to the .303 British ammunition consumed by the SMLE.

Just so you know, it was those great pictures of the sig that got me all motivated. Did you get a new camera or what?
Hey thanks man! Nah, thats my same old Canon A75, I just bought a tripod and actually change the settings as the circumstances dictate.
The Sig came out best, the S&W got some snaps, but I’m not as keen on them (be posting them tommorow anyway).
Going to have to do some more experimentation with the camera.

Toronto sucks.
So does gravity. Maybe that’s why some people think TO’s the centre of the universe; all that suction.
Toronto is not really a bad place except during those 35C 99% humidity nights or damned sleet storms. I’m so glad I rolled west with the rest of the nuts.
Erik, when are you going to drag the family out to the coast so they can see how weird we are. I won’t tell stories, honest. Carl or Steve might, though.
