A little overdue perhaps…
Ok, I’ve been more than a little silent of late. I’d blame the cold/flu/malaise that seems to have me in it’s grasp but that’s not entirely accurate. I’d continue to blame the commute, which when combined with the already mentioned illness seems to suck what little energy I have away from me with startling ferocity, but that’s not absolutely correct either.
I’d blame work, with the corporate absorbtion well in swing making things both a little more chaotic and more than a little less rewarding, and here I think we’re scoring closer to the mark. When combined with all else that is going on it’s this last one that seems to rob me of the little will I have left recently.
My condition is not fatal, just tiring. Hang in there folks, I am.
Other minor updates?
I’m in the process of selling off the Anti-zombie rifle, except the buyer has disappeared mid transaction (and will hopefully reappear shortly), have bought a Smith and Wesson Model 14 in .38 Special and am awaiting delivery (I’ve always wanted a wheelgun), and am in the midst of trading off my CZ52 for a shotgun with Mike as his new range only allows handguns.
Expect some gun pron as the new arrivals begin to show up.
[Edit: Blog and you shall receive. The SKS-AZR is officially gone.]
Chalk it up to the ‘Mid-winter blahs’
Daily slot-car racing on the 401 is not exactly the finest way to enjoy the season, either
Many authorities recommend taking 400 IU of vitamin D every day.
At least you don’t have to swallow tablespoonfuls of cod liver oil the way your grandmother fed it to us when we were kids! (Eghhh! You could still taste that stuff hours and hours after you swallowed it.)
I thought the zombies had gotten you for a while there…
Things aren’t looking good from Eesti Maja, though. No one is getting back to me and the woman on the other side of the phone didn’t know what I was talking about.
Sorry to hear you have been unwell, many nasty things have been going around. Look at it this way, if you die, you could come back a zombie and write a tell all book or at the least a movie review from a very different perspective. Hope you feel better
Dude, you need to keep blogging. Dan got so bored last week, he phoned me to go for coffee. I had a midterm, so I couldn’t go, but dude….think of poor Dan, so bored that he had to resort to phoning me.
I worry about him. A lot.
BTW, Dan, Patrick, et al, when are we shooting/sushi-ing or at least having coffee?
He called me up Monday evening. He sounded kinda odd, like he does when he’s really distracted by something…He musta’ still been reeling from his conversation with you Greg! -GRIN-
Normally, he’d get his dose from your now defunct blog!
