Ahh, Dawn’ 04. This was one of those shots that was short but relays so much epic feeling. Though I still wonder how She and her husband slept through all that noise.

Without a doubt the first 10 minutes of DOTD\’04 is easily the most exciting start to any zombie movie (or maybe even any normal movie). It does screw with the pacing later in the film, but damn did it drag ya right in right away.

Funny, but I was thinking the same thing about them sleeping through the anarchy outside. Still, I guess the post-coital bliss was enough to shield them from all but child-zombie intruders.

Hey Mon, in regards to Dawn ‘04 — would you have stayed at the mall or decide to leave like the characters did? Oh, and I’m not talking about the events that lead to the end of the movie but of the decision they made to try to get to the prick’s boat at the marina!

My personal pick for best aerial shot was near the beginning when the van coming to a three-way on the road plows into another vehicle. Looked like a real accident I witnessed recently.

I think you’re right Mug, maybe he was just that good. ;-)

    Patrick,
I thought that innersection crash had a very epic feel to it also but the only thing that always bothers me is how Ana never even swirves away from the huge fireball that explodes from the gas station as it goes up. One would think that would be something that would get your attention, even if you are in “shock”.
