An unusual boxing day…
I spent a good portion of yesterday not shopping for bargains, but delivering Pizzas around Kitchener.
No, it’s not a career change, it was a favour for my step-father who had been double booked amongst his jobs. My impressions are mixed to be honest, it wasn’t nearly as bad as I thought it’d be. The money wasn’t horrible (ended the day with Mean Machine and Cabin Fever on DVD, dinner for the family ordered from Swiss Chalet and ten bucks left over) although the “on-call” nature really didn’t agree with me as each time I got comfortably settled at home the cell phone would ring and I’d have to dash out again.
Ah well. Still it’s the very first boxing day I can remember where I did some shopping and came home with more money than I left with.
About time you sought gainful employment.

Who am I kidding? I have two casual gigs and am otherwise a student seeking a highly valued undergraduate history degree.
Hehe, give Pizza delivery a try then.
I like cash payments, I just figured when I started accepting cash it’d be in larger denomination bills and larger quantities.
Rather disappointing.

…and you’d need kneepads.
(Running and ducking)
Keep ducking. Are you at least making it to the range more than me these days?
Which of us HAS actually HAD TIME for the range these days?!

I don’t think anybody can make it to the range less than me. We’re apparently getting an indoor range in Richmond, which I’d like to check out. Shooting soggy targets is, putting my college education to good use by quoting one of the great philosophers of our time, “Weak”.

I almost had time this week. Drop a line tonight if you get a chance Patrick.
