A little updatiness…
Things have been the usual pace around here, add to the fray the fact that Lisa quit smoking last week, and I joined in the fun myself on Monday and the house seems a little irritable for the most part. Will keep you posted on the progress as we go, unless we crash and burn of course.
Congratulations on stopping smoking. Emphysema would be a severe handicap in the middle of the zombocalypse.
I was hoping to poll you for some advice if you don’t mind; there’s a guy on the milsurp exchange board on CGN selling a Longbranch No.4 MkI, described as mint bore, 98% finish, original dark walnut wood, former target rifle although the target rear sight has been removed and a standard one put back on. He’s asking $650. He’s sent pictures, and the gun does appear to be in good shape, but I was wondering a) whether this seems to be a reasonable price and b) what questions would you ask in my shoes?
Thanks!

Congrats, your kid will thank you for it. The irritability will fade, but the tricky part is when you come across situations, especially stressful ones, where you would have normally smoked. The peole I know who lapsed, it was because they found themselves in a stressful situation and their only cumpulsion was to smoke. So take up knitting or something.
My co-worker started quitting yesterday on the patch, and he goes for a walk around the building when he would have taking a smoke break.
Good luck.
Dude, I quit smoking in 2001. If I can quit, anybody can. In fact, if I have any insight into that feeble little mind of yours, it would kill you more than the tobacco you were sucking back if I could lay claim to having beaten you at something.
If you smoke, Greg wins!

Good for you guys!
Long time, no, eh?
Meh ignore me I am home alone and drained by a stupid fight with an internet troll and feeling empty. I am sure tomorrow I will be back to my anti-social self.
