[...] In a recent post James Rummel pointed out that he was suprised to see a British actor exercising proper trigger finger discipline. I commented that while watching the series “Spaced” I had noticed a few instances of proper safe handling of firearms, but on consideration I decided to put my money where my mouth was and double check those British actors.
Hehe, noticed that too eh?

Actually Simon Pegg seems to have had some good instruction in firearms handling, throughout "Spaced" he handles a number of firearms and I've yet to notice an instance where his finger sneaks inside the trigger guard.

I should probably get off my duff and grab some screen caps, but I'll save that for another time.

Amazing! You could knock me over with a shovel!

The picture shows a Brit actor who is actually handling a gun with proper trigger discipline.

Yeah that was the trailer I was referring to. Still hoping to have Cannon's face eaten off.
As for NotLD 3d I am a little unsure of what that may become, it does sound like they did take some liberties with the original idea, hopefully it'll pay off.

This trailer?

Yeah...I'm not real keen on remakes in general. DOTD'04 was a pleasant change, but I'm expecting the worst and hoping for the best with both "Day" and the second remake of "Night" (trailer here) in 3D.

Far be it from me not to welcome new zombie movies, particularly mid or high budget ones, but I cringe inwardly when I think of them remaking the greats.
