VZ58 Stock Refinishing

Ok, I’ve decided to go ahead and refinish the stock on the VZ58 as I’m not entirely happy with the faux-wood ugly furniture that resides on it now. Before I begin this minor project, I thought I’d ask you for your opinion. So chime in, and tell me why you think one color is better than the other in the comments below.

    Hey Mon,

    Glad you and the family are okay. Good thing it wasn’t one of those situations where you needed your brakes immediately — as in “just before rear-ending someone HARD!”

    As for the new rifle, I just saw a few of those at lever the other day. The furniture looks atrocious. Some kind of pressed fibreboard of some variety? I can understand cheap but how cheap do they really need to get?

    I think I voted for “black textured” in your poll above. Aside from the furniture, the rest of the piece looks pretty cool.

    I’d like to pick up a new toy but I think that I’ll be focusing on reloading for the next little while. No point having the toys with nothing to blow through them is there?! *GRIN*

    Oh, except that’s not “hot” pink, its more of a dusty rose. I think Barbie pink would be good, too. But not hot pink.
