A zombie buffet...all you can eat!Overview: Matool wanders the post-zombocalypse wasteland, protecting his glasses and fighting for nothing more than his very survival and perhaps a ready supply of nails.

We find him on a typical day, killing zombies, rescuing young women and having them subsequently spurn his sexual advances moments before they are eaten by the undead. He finally finds himself being knocked unconscious and abducted by the last surviving swingers on the planet.

Oh, if only I was joking.

Peek-a-boo, I see you!Summary: The movie opens with a man and woman engaged in a vaguely intimate moment, as they pull apart the woman utters those magical words that men love to hear;

Find me someone to play with”

The man, looking predictably thrilled with the idea of wandering the zombie infested countryside seeking sexual partners for his wife, sets off none the less to fulfil his unusual marital duties.

We jump now to Matool who is in the midst of a life or death struggle with a suprisingly energetic zombie, Matool (after some kicks, punches and the like) drives a massive nail through the zombies head, effectively ending the fight.

Laying the smackdown on the undead...Matool then rescues a young woman from a small group of the undead, takes shelter in a small shack already inhabited by a creepy guy with two small children, has his sexual advances spurned by the rescued woman who then flees the shack letting the zombies in. Once again on the run, Matool is soon knocked unconscious by our previously mentioned husband who has been ramdonly driving around up until now.

Matool regains consciousness at the home shared by the husband and wife (who we discover are named Nathan and Dexy). It’s explained to Matool that he’s been sought out solely as a sexual outlet for Dexy, and odd as that seems Matool doesn’t seem to have an issue with it.

Zombie sex toy...ewwwwwMatools first session in his new capacity is dampened by the direct supervision provided by Nathan, and the unannounced arrival of Sassy (Dexys sister). These problems aside the household settles into the new arrangement with relatively few hiccups.

That is until the arrival of three soldiers, the last survivors of a patrol that was ambushed by the newer faster zombies, arrives at the house, changing the dynamic somewhat. As Dexy finds herself with more men than she can handle, Nathan takes to visiting a captive zombie sex-toy he keeps chained up in the shed, and one of the soldiers slowly expires.

Nice rollerball outfit..Things go horribly wrong when the soldier finally dies and turns into a zombie inside the house. In the confusion Sassy is shot, Nathans sex-toy zombie gets loose, and Matool and one of the soldiers battle each other outside for Dexy, and control of the household.

Quotes:

  • “That’s what happens when you go for a Sunday drive in a world full of flesh eating corpses.”
    - Creepy Guy
  • “Give me a hand with this thing before it starts stinking up the place!” - Nathan

Nothing like a little fistfight among the zombies.Critique: Uh, yeah. Look this film started out well, clearly a fairly low budget but good solid zombie action and a nice score sucked me, once we got into the sexually deviant behavior I admit I started tuning out. As this makes up the central element of the film it’s hard to ignore altogether however.

Setting aside the unusual sexual elements the film is enjoyable, the action is well done, the gore is entirely acceptable and the score fits nicely. There are some creepy moments, but ya have to give them credit for breaking new ground.

The Final Word: Sure, if you’re a fan of the genre give this one a try. It’s a genuine effort, and an not altogether unwelcome addition to the collection.

I got to see this at Zombie Con this year. It’s bad but fun to watch with a crowd of drunk hecklers. By itself it was pretty bad.

Gary has zombie Zombie porn. I need to stop going to his house.

    Agreed.

I didn’t mind so much, with Undead and Biozombie I felt I’d had a good run with fairly decent zombie films, I was due for a mediocre effort. Might even have enough energy to take another stab at some of the bombs that are sitting on my desk…

    Fingers crossed!
