Fathers Day….

My first fathers day as a “father”.

I’ll spare you the reflections on the past and the future, suffice to say;

    Welcome to the club. The good news is that we’ll let almost anybody into this club(I’m in with two repeat visits). The bad news is that it’s like the Mafia: Once in, you never get all the way out.

    Wait until you experience the joy of having a badly wrapped package thrust at you first thing in morning with a chirpy little voice saying “Unwrap your wallet Daddy!”. I’m really glad we broke her of her earlier preferred method of waking Daddy: Eye gouge.

    I actually quickly made sure that it was a new wallet, not merely my old wallet wrapped up–minus the cash.
