Still alive and kicking….
Please accept my apologies for my absence of late, the cold and flu season descended on our household and stalked Lisa, Jillian and I like victims in an Agatha Christie novel. Jillian was the first to fall, then me and finally Lisa.
It’s made for late nights, short tempers, and deficit spending in the sleep department that can only be rivalled by the seasoned veterans of our nations government (the spending part, not the absence of sleep mind you).
We’ve weathered the worst of it at this point. Jillian has recovered, I retain a nasty cough, and Lisa is still fighting the good fight.

Apologies accepted. Look on the bright side … it’s spring! Soon the flowers will be in bloom, and we can sniffle and sneeze due to hay fever
I hear you. I’ve been so hit by my allergies this year, I’m actually back on ventolin inhalers. I’ve celebrated 0300 every day this week by dry-drowning in bed until I can suck on my inhalor. Fun.
Vancouver is Hell on wheels for allegies this month. It has to be the worst Spring for me in 15 years. I just motor along with the least amount of antihistamines possible and try to refrain from gouging my eyes out with a spoon until the cherry blossoms fall.
Flu, schmoo. I’ve been scaring the crap out of myself reading up on probable future pandemics and about some from several centuries back that had 90% and 100% mortality rates, depending on what area they occurred in. Glad you and yours are getting back to good health, Erik.
