Have now taken apart and re-assembled the interesting Right Hand Switch on the bike, and reinstalled the front brake switch. I’m still somewhat puzzled by the switch, but hey. It’s a 40 year old bike.
On to the next item.

Ain’t the Internet grand?! You gotta appreciate the folks who go to all the trouble of putting up detailed articles like that one on the switch rebuild!
Odd, though … I thought Honda had changed that switch gear by 1972. As long as it works, though, eh?
Yep…and it seems to work. Might have to pull it off again at some point and clean it up a bit, maybe dab some paint into the markings so they are less cryptic, but I s’pose it’s fine for now.
