I’ve been a Sony fan for some time. I bought my first PS2 used while I lived in Vancouver, and bought a new PS3 after moving back to Ontario (and then bought a second PS3 last year when mine suffered the Yellow Light of Death) after almost 5 years of trouble free use. I’ve been a content Sony customer, and the Playstation was my choice of console.
I’ve always wondered about the Xbox though. Having some access to the system and its predecessor I never really noticed a significant difference between the two systems (asthetics aside). I’ve joked for years that I was going to buy an Xbox 360 soon, as a treat for myself and to finally access some of that Zombie styled exlusive content.
Last week I did precisely that. I purchased an Xbox 360 250Gb with Kinect, a few games (Left 4 Dead among them, naturally.) and left the local Bestbuy about $500 lighter.
That said I am disappointed with the Xbox, and have not yet seen anything that would woo me away from the PS3.
