A note on “Open Houses”

I don’t particularly like people in my house under the best of circumstances, our home is my private refuge from the world outside. It’s a safe orderly place, and one I jealously guard (ask around, see how many people I’ve invited in).

We’ve just had the second open house and on our return afterward we found a nice blue liquid “splat” on the stairs we just had recarpeted.

Nice.

Grrrrr…

(The liquid “splat” was removed with carpet cleaner we bought for pet stains, but worked just fine on this, thankfully)

    We too had an open house and we feel your pain.

    Well – at least you had people come by.

    I sat for 8 hours Sat & Sun to baby site for the tenants in our place and NO ONE came.

    Good thing I like wasting away my weekend….
