2009 in review…
So we’ve made it through another year.
Last year I finally gave up on security as a career, enjoyed a brief stint as a cable installer and then returned to security, albeit in a more “advanced” capacity.
My trips to the range can be counted on one hand and for the first time in ages I didn’t add a single zombie movie DVD to the collection. Going to have to do better for 2010, this is just not acceptable.

Glad to hear the new gig is panning out nicely. You’ll do fine in the gig, which I’m assuming is quite similar to our old days riding around in the white Jeep Cherokee. Hard to believe that was almost 15 years ago.
Speaking of plans for 2010, I’m going to be in your area around March 13th. We should hook up for a quiet beer…followed by about 17 or 18 loud ones…
As for me, my school drudgery continues as I await with dread my marks from last semester. I have my first big trial next week. It’s a case heavy on guns, forensics and poaching. The guy is facing 8 counts and it’s gonna be a humdinger of a case. I’m barely half way through law school and I’m tackling the regional chief Crown, who is no less than a QC. If I win on even one of the counts, I’m calling it a massive victory.

Well, of course it is. Things change, especially after you breed, and the realm of the ‘acceptable’ also evolves.
The important thing is to continue to have some fun, and it sounds like you’re managing to do that, bang-bangs and zombie movies notwithstanding
