I think it's because since the 90's we've been so inundated with Glocks they've become generic and boring. That and we just plum don't like the things.

Mike I am in total agreement with you on this, I find the lines of the Sig more more appealing asthetically than the Beretta.

Strange that the Glock doesn't inspire anything in me I guess.

It's a little thing, but I prefer the look of handguns with a completely flat, right-angled square front like the Sig, USP, and my Para. The extra angles and flatness of the Sig and the USP is a bonus.

I think the plainclothes protective details had P220s, but you may be right. It was a long time ago. I remember that it fit my hand very nicely and concealed under a summer shirt. (Then again, I can work with any mayhem-producing device. You should see what I can do to bureaucrats with email and a cc list...)
BTW your pictures are exceptional. Photographing black on black is tough to get right. Your first aid badge isn't too blasted out either, just a little highlight flare and still identifiable color.

I honestly don't know which scares me more. You owning a Sig or you being certified* to do First Aid. In case it ever comes up, if my options are death or you doing first aid on me, I choose death.

*Note: I said "certified", not "qualified".
