It arrived on Monday, while I was trying to sleep in advance of my first night back to work.

The pistol and several hundred rounds of ammunition handed to me by generic deliveryperson who seemed entirely nonplussed with the task of handing a rather heavy box to a sleepy, confused looking guy in his underwear. Acquired with the proceeds from the sale of the Anti-Zombie rifle, the Model 14 is my first revolver, and bears more than a passing resemblance to the first handgun I ever fired.
I’ve long wanted to add a revolver to my little collection, but never seemed to come across a “basic” revolver. This is certainly basic. A “K” frame Smith and Wesson, chambered for .38 Special and with a 6″ barrel, it is an almost entirely generic example of a “service” style revolver.
I’ve not had it out to the range yet, so no real impressions of consequence.
