VZ58 bling

Argh, the age old question…

this versus this.

[Truth be told it's more a "Little from column A and a little from column B" sorta situation. I plan on getting the full walnut furniture from the one, and adding an extended mag release and muzzle brake from the second. Meh, that's just the way I roll.]

    on commie guns, I’d always recommend the plastic fantastic. The only battle rifle(s) that need wood furniture is the garand or the m1a/m14

    I don’t know, after seeing Piets AK I’m thinking the wood furniture looks pretty slick on it. I’ve been mucking around with the plastic furniture on my VZ58, but so far nothing has really “grabbed” me.

    I s’pose like so many things it’s a personal preference, but who knows I could absolutely hate the wood furniture when I eventually get around to putting it on the rifle.

    Ah well, where is the fun without the experimentation, right?

    That tactical handguard is nice. One way or another I’d bag me one of those.

    Keep the plastics on the space guns.
