Absence makes the heart grow…what again?
Apologies to my loyal readers for my recent extended absence. I’m afraid the mundane details of day to day life have left me more than a little tired and strained, and I’ve simply lacked the energy to do much more on the internet than checking my email.
Nothing major has occured I assure you. Work continues, as it were, with the amalgamation of my little employer into a larger corporate entity at a snails pace and with tension among the rank and file. The commute remains a daily source of entertainment and terror as I am at once amazed and threatened by the commuters that surround me.
We are well, rest assured. Busy, but well.
[I do apologize for the absence of the weekly zombie posters, I had thought that I had a few more 'automated' weekly posts left in the queue. My bad, I'll rectify that shortly.]
I will forgive ya this time, dont let it happen again though.
Hey Mon,
Do ya know if the TTC has a Security Department or is hiring for one? Perhaps that might be something you could look into. Seems like slowly but surely, those of us from the hospital days are migrating towards Transit Security. It pays pretty good anyways, the benefits are rather decent and the ridership mostly seem to appreciate our presence – ‘specially at night. *SHRUG*
I’m still impressed that you do that commute…
